The Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association (FADAA) offers their outstanding expertise in a variety of courses for professionals serving the susbstance abuse prevention and treatment field. You can take each course at your own pace and along the way earn continuing education credits.

what topics are covered and who are the instructors?

Choose from among numerous courses covering substance abuse prevention and treatment issues. Each course consists of a detailed personal study manual developed by a highly qualified certified addiction specialist.

how do I take the courses?

Select an offering from our course listings and register. Then, download the detailed manual. When you are ready to take the exam, login to our member area (registration fee required) to download a copy of your exam. When you are finished, simply e-mail the electronic copy back to us or fax/mail. You earn a certificate with a minimum score of 80%.

how do I earn continuing education units (CEUs)?

Rules on the use of alternative learning options like HomeStudy vary by state. Consult your state's certification and/or licensing authority for rules and regulations. And, check our continuing education unit credit information for more detail specific to Florida.
